In-Camp

Hi everyone this is Ana, I’m from Colombia and I’m so excited to meet all of you and have the best summer camp experience. I’m so happy to spend time with you and give all of me to make this experience unforgettable. I love working with children as I have already done in the last few years and I’m pretty sure camp Carolina is the best place for you to challenge yourself to prove new things, make friends, and have fun, all these experiences are to be remembered for a lifetime.
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

My greatest achievement has been leading work teams, one of the most important was my degree project in high school, it was about photography and graphic design. I led a team of 25 people for a project with a span of 8 months, which was reduced to 3 due to a National problem. I challenged myself to be the best teammate, assigned several teams with specific tasks and we carried out the whole process. We won the # 1 spot at the end of the ceremony.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

I am a photography lover, this is one of the things that I really want to share with you at camp, photography is a way where you can literally freeze a moment forever and it’s one of the most interesting things to do.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

What I want the most is to be able to share with them, spend a lot of time playing, talking, getting to know each other, and trying new crazy things that Camp Carolina will offer. One of the most interesting things, when you’re with children, is that you always have something to learn about them, besides that, time flies by while you have fun and take care of them. I know that this experience will be fascinating for them but also for me. Together we will grow as a person and then at the end of the Summer, this will be something that we will carry in our hearts for life.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

I want to help children to overcome their fears and to make appropriate changes to their lives that will make them better gentlemen.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

a camp is a place where we challenge ourselves to do things we never imagined, where we manage to overcome fears and realize what we are capable of. I want children to take this mindset that they are capable of achieving everything they want with a little effort and courage.
