Augusto Edgar Urena

My name is Augusto. I come from a small town called Tarrazú, located in Costa Rica. Here the main economic activity is the production and processing of coffee, which is something I have been involved in since I was a little kid. Actually, here is when I fell in love with outdoor activities, because I started hiking and also camping in the coffee plantations. Four years ago, I was a member of the local Red Cross and I was in charge of the environmental department. And also, right there is where I discovered a passion for sharing with kids a purpose to preserve the planet, through activities like planting trees, camping, and community farms.
