In-Camp

Hi there! I'm Daniela, but you can call me Dani. I'm 24 years old from a small town in Mexico. This summer, I'm taking part in Camp Carolina's incredible team.
I graduated from college in 2019, and this will be my first time in a summer camp doing photography and capturing every adventure and every special moment the kids will live at CCB.
I'm so excited to meet you all and start this beautiful journey!

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

Besides graduating from college, my biggest achievement was being part of the production staff at a music festival in Mexico. I took pictures and produced videos to post on different digital platforms.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

I live in a small town surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and beautiful rivers. Since I was little, I have always enjoyed hiking with my friends and family to discover new places and lovely landscapes.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

I think kids bring up the best of everyone. They can teach valuable lessons on life, like not taking it too seriously and enjoying the moment. I love working with kids because they've got a super contagious enthusiasm.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

I want to help the campers to achieve their goals by having fun and enjoying their time in CCB. At the same time, I want to be someone they can trust to tell me how they're feeling or if something is bothering them.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

Fellowship. I'd love the kids to leave at the end of the summer with a new vision of life and themselves. I want them to know how to be a great partner, teammate, and above all, a good friend.
