Hello, I'm Jeff and I'm from Rome, Georgia, and recently retired from the University of Wyoming after 30 years in higher education! And I've been a CCB camper and a counselor and staff member from years ago.
I have a Ph.D. in natural resources and plenty of camping, hiking, and shooting sports experience. I have held gun safety certifications in Kentucky, Georgia, and with the NRA, 4H, and always look for new ways to develop my knowledge.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

Becoming a father to two great kids. MY son is in the Navy and a daughter now living in Texas. and my wife of 12 years.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

Camping, hiking and shooting.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

Mentoring them to become better humans and learning new skills
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

Leading the shooting sports, archery, and fencing activities.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

Safety first and treating each other with respect.
