Reka Bokor

Hi, my name is Reka from Hungary (born in Romania, Transylvania :)) and I am super happy for having been selected to work in Camp Carolina (Transylvania) this summer. I love the spirit of nature, its taste, and its smell. I will be part of the mountaineering group which I am really excited about. I have exceptional mountain adventures/experiences both in summer and winter conditions, which I would really like to share with the kids.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

My biggest achievement in my life so far is that I am always able to regenerate/refresh myself. I am always open to new things and thoughts. After having graduated as a Hungarian grammar and literature teacher, I started studying law, then I tried to open my wings as a yoga teacher. Meanwhile, I was also practicing my hobbies (hiking, climbing, dancing).
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

My favorite hobbies are hiking, climbing, or just walking in forests near mountain creeks and enjoying the wonderful spectacle from the peak of the hill or mountain. I also like doing yoga in the natural environment. Dancing salsa, singing near a campfire and of course, reading is my beloved activity.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

I love to share all my sports activities and experiences with children and to show them the way how to reach their goals. As a teacher, I have learned a lot of methods, how to help children master knowledge, but I also believe we learn the most when we are not even aware of it.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

I would love to be a helpful member of the CCB Team, who contributes to achieving the goal of making this summer unforgettable both for the kids and for the Team members.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

I totally agree with the philosophy of the camp: achieving that all the boys go home stronger in body, keener in mind, and appreciative of nature.
