Hi! I'm Henry, from Lincolnshire in the UK!
I'm 18 years old, and have a huge passion for music, singing, and the outdoors. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to teach music at CCB this year and I absolutely can't wait to share my interests and get to work so closely with the campers.
Although I'm mainly a pianist (classical and pop), I also play the ukulele and love to sing all kinds of different music (including Barbershop; an absolute favorite of mine).
I have a huge passion for working with kids and helping them not only to be a great listener and musician but also helping them to become the best and happiest version of themselves!
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?: I think my biggest achievement would be getting a place at the National Youth Choir of Great Britain!
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?: Aside from music and singing, I love to be outdoors- including playing football, tennis and walking! Nature is so incredible and I'm usually pretty happy being there no matter what I'm doing.
What are you most looking forward to about CCB?: Their huge personalities! I can't wait to meet all of the campers, especially the guys who are in my cabin. I love being able to see them have fun and develop, turning into kind, selfless and fun-loving gents, something I'm truly honored to be a part of this year.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?: I can't wait to fill CCB with music. I'm going to work so hard to make sure that I share my interests as widely as possible and inspire everyone to give it a go, whether they've played music for 5 years or just 1 day!
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?: 'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail' (Harold R McAlindon) I want all of the campers to learn to be bold individuals who pursue whatever it is they want to do or try out. Becoming an original individual is so important, so that's my camp philosophy.
