Our Team

Hello, my name is Jay and I am really looking forward to meeting you all at Camp Carolina this summer! This is my first summer working at camp and I am extremely excited to be given the chance to meet new people and make friends for life and make memories that will last forever. I am relishing the challenge of camp and all the rewards it will bring to us all! Being given the chance to work at such a great camp thrills me as much as everyone else involved.

I am a very energetic, positive and helpful individual. I love to make new friends and love to have a good time and enjoy every passing moment as much as we all possibly can. Activities and sports have always been a massive part of my life so I am very keen to get stuck in whilst working at camp and to see where the summer takes us all! I am very eager to finally get started at camp and ensure that all involved are prepared and ready to endure the summer of their lifetime!

How many years have you worked at CCB?: This will be my first year working at Camp Carolina.

What is your must bring item to CCB?: My ‘must bring item’ to camp will be my soccer ball souvenir. I won this award when I was 10 years of age for winning ‘player of the year’ out of my home county and have kept it to this very day!

What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?: During my free time, soccer is without doubt my biggest time occupier! I play soccer between two to four times a week for my home town. If i'm not playing it, i'm either in the gym or watching it on the TV!

What are you famous for?: I am mainly well known for being a very sporty person – I tend to always be keeping myself busy in some form of exercise! I like to keep myself on the go as it does well for the body!

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?: My proudest moment would be winning the schools soccer county cup at the age of 16. 64 teams took place and we went onto win the tournament, winning the final 3-0 where we got the chanced to play at our local teams stadium – Swindon Town FC.

What are you most looking forward to about CCB?: I am most looking forward to being able to give the campers a summer of a lifetime – With new faces and new activities, this is a great platform to help open up different paths for all involved in order to go on and achieve great things – along with enjoying every minute of camp and making friends for life!

What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?: I am looking forward to be able to have a memorable and positive impact at camp! Camp is a time and place where everyone will look back on in due course as a stand out point in their life – both for campers and leaders. I would love to ensure the impact i bring is positive through thorough enjoyment, teamwork and a healthy happy environment!
