Hello! My name is Mary and I am going to be working in the Camp Carolina kitchen this summer! I am so excited to meet everybody and get to work making tasty things for everyone to enjoy. My favorite things to do at camp are swimming and paddling, but I also love to read and play guitar. My background for working in the kitchen came from Bill's Restaurant in my hometown back in Kentucky. While working there for several years I learned how to make the perfect sandwich, how to bake bread, and – most importantly! – how to respect the ingredients. One of the best things about the CCB kitchen is the commitment to responsibly sourced meat and local produce. I can't wait to get my hands on the first ripe tomatoes of the season.
