Hello, my name is Nicco. I am twenty years old and am currently a sophomore enrolled at Vanderbilt University. I plan to major in economics although I do not have any definitive plans with regard to my future career. I am from Maryland but am moving down to South Carolina during the summer. I was a camper at Camp Carolina in 2013 and 2014 and had some of the best experiences of my life at camp that I hope I can recreate during my first year as a camp counselor.
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?: I founded a philosophy club during my sophomore year in high school, which allowed me to express my opinions with a variety of interesting people and helped propel me to a great college.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?: I have played soccer throughout my whole life but I also love doing a variety of outdoor activities such as biking, swimming, and hiking.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?: My favorite thing about working with children is watching them become more responsible and rational people.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?: I hope to make my campers feel that not only would they like to come back the following year but also that they would like to come back as a counselor in the future.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?: One goal that I would like to establish is for the campers to take on responsibilities out of a sense of honor rather than merely being told to.
