My name is Sam, I'm an 18-year-old American currently living in San Francisco. I am currently finishing up my Senior year of High School and will be attending a school called Bridgton Academy in Maine next year to play football. I was a camper at CCB for 6 years and a Counselor Assistant(CA) for 2. I'm very excited to be able to help make my campers summer as fun and as special as mine were.
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?: My biggest achievement in life so far is taking the initiative to teach myself how to play football at a high level in a short amount of time.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?: My favorite sport is American Football. I love playing, watching, or even studying the game as a whole.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?: I love being able to impact and help shape the lives of the kids I work with in a positive way.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?: I am most excited to help my campers have an amazing summer and to help them develop into mature young men.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?: My goal is that my campers leave camp this year and have a greater understanding of the simplicity of life and the wonders of nature. It is important to have a break from being on our phones/computers 24/7 and be able to appreciate the world and its many beauties. Camp provides time for this, but it is also important to me that my campers go home with these values.
