Our Team

Hey everyone! I'm Simon from buzzing Brighton on the south coast of England. I studied Broadcasting in London and have worked as a cameraman and assistant across the UK and abroad. I've really enjoyed my previous trips to the States and I love that everything is massive compared to the UK!

How many years have you worked at CCB?: None, but I'm raring to go and can't wait to join you all for an amazing summer to capture those unforgettable moments and enthusiastic smiles, staff included!

What is your must bring item to CCB?: A positive and friendly attitude, my camera, bug spray and sunglasses!

What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?: I love cars and motorbikes including going Go-Karting, the theatre, playing tennis, acting and singing, street photography, keeping up with technology and exploring new places.

What are you famous for?: Always busy doing something, being compassionate and appearing several times in the audience on the BBC programme Antiques Roadshow as well as being in shot behind Andy Murray when he was presented with his gold medal, whilst I was working at Wimbledon during the 2012 Olympics.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?: I'm proud to have worked on a wide variety of projects and programmes, performing on various stages including the Paralympics Opening Ceremony, helping others through volunteer work and teaching my Dad how to use his iPad… That was a real challenge…

What are you most looking forward to about CCB?: I'm really excited to be a part of a camp with true values, gain more skills and go on new adventures with great people.

What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?: Getting great content of the boys as they transition into gentlemen so they can show their friends and family they are having the best time of their lives. To also maintain the high standards of the camp by embracing and putting into practise the values of the True Gentleman poem that will stick with them and help them throughout the rest of their life.

What is your favorite quote?: “If you love the life you live, then you'll get a lot more done. Be more inclined to take the reins, than turn away and run. It's very rare it seems to get a lifetime guarantee, so self satisfaction be the key” – Simple Things by Paolo Nutini
