Hi my name is Jackson Begelhole, and I am originally from a small country town of Stawell in regional Victoria, and I currently live in the slightly less regional Victorian town of Ballarat. I studied Animation at Deakin University in Burwood and I currently work in retail and as a freelance illustrator.
How many years have you worked at CCB?: First time this year.
What is your must bring item to CCB?: A sketchbook!
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?: Making stuff! Whether it be drawing, writing or even playing music, I love the feeling of starting with nothing and ending up with something!
What are you famous for?: Being the first man on the moon. Wait, that was Neil Armstrong. Sorry, I always get us confused. I Guess what I’m actually famous for is bad jokes.
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?: Illustrating my first children’s book.
What are you most looking forward to about CCB?: Expanding my horizons, challenging myself in new and exciting ways and creating new friendships!
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?: To inspire campers in a fun and engaging way.
