My name is Bryn, I am an 18-year-old Kiwi kid from New Zealand. I love just having a mean time, I find that enjoying yourself as much as possible is the way to go. I am hoping to have the best summer ever!
I love adventures and getting outdoors, and experiencing nature and the untouched land of earth.
I also enjoy playing the guitar and piano, although not amazing at it, I love the sound that you can create from just using your fingers and a few pedals. I have been playing musical instruments since I was about 8.
When I was younger, I used to play football/Soccer. I do not play anymore but played for about 5 years.
My favorite subject in school was Math, this is because I liked numbers better than words. But then it got to a point where there were more letters in math's class than other classes! I also enjoyed it because I had an amazing teacher at school. He was a very cool person, I loved his presence.
I am an endurance athlete, this means I compete in races that are anywhere from 6-24 hours long. I do this because I like to push myself to my limits and see what the human body is capable of both physically and mentally. What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?
Achieving the role of Head Boy at my high school. This helped me improve my leadership skills as well as put me in situations where I had to work as a team and find different paths to success. What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?
My favorite hobby/thing to do is endurance sports. I really love the physical and mental side of pushing your body to its limits. I enjoy getting out there and doing stuff in the wild, as well as doing adventures as often as I can.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?
Just being able to help them achieve their goals, seeing the smile on their face and the sense of achievement when they accomplish a task is always very rewarding.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?
Just being an all-round legend! Making kids smile, having fun, and living the dream. Bringing enthusiasm, humor, and helping the kids push themselves to have a mean time.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?
Sense of connection. Becoming friends, and enjoying every moment they have together. As well as learning about different cultures and experiences from around the world.
