My name is Bryn, I am an 18 year old Kiwi kid from New Zealand. I love just having a mean time, I find that enjoying yourself as much as possible is the way to go. I am hoping to have the best summer ever! I love adventures and getting outdoors, and experiencing nature and the untouched land of earth. I also enjoy playing the guitar and piano, although not amazing at it, I love the sound that you can create from just using your fingers and a few pedals. I have been playing musical instruments since I was about 8. When I was younger I used to play football/Soccer. I do not play anymore but played for about 5 years. My favorite subject in school was Math's, this is because I liked numbers better than words. But then it got to a point where there were more letters in math's class than other classes! I also enjoyed it because I had an amazing teacher at school. He was a very cool person whom I loved his presence. I am an endurance athlete, his means I compete in races that are anywhere from 6-24 hours long. I do this because I like to push myself to my limits and see what the human body is capable of both physically and mentally. What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:
Achieving the role of Head Boy at my high school. This helped me improve my leadership skills as well as put me in situations where I had to work as a team and find different paths to success. What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:
My favorite hobby/thing to do is endurance sports. I really love the physical and mental side of pushing your body to its limits. I enjoy getting out there and doing stuff in the wild, as well as doing adventures as often as I can. What is your favorite thing about working with children?:
Just being able to help them achieve their goals, seeing the smile on their face and the sense of achievement when they accomplish a task is always very rewarding. What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:
Just being an all round legend! Making kids smile, having fun, and living the dream. Bringing enthusiasm, humor, and helping the kids push themselves to have a mean time. What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:
Sense of connection. Becoming friends, and enjoying every moment they have together. As well and learning about different cultures and experiences from around the world.
