In-Camp Staff

HI, I'm  Elliot. I’m from Surrey, England. Some big things that I love are sports, watching and playing, camping and travelling. I’m also a big brother too 2 younger brothers, and we like to do a lot together, from things such as sport watching films and having fun.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?

One of the most proud moments of my life so far has been with the football team that I spent 14 years with. In our last season, we did something that we had never done before, which was winning the league. It was a great way to end my youth football, where we worked hard all season, and it really felt deserved thanks to all my teammates and coaches' hard work.
What is your favourite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?

My favourite sport to play is football, which you may call soccer. But my favourite sport to watch is definitely American football, where I am a fan of the Buffalo Bills and even took a trip to watch them in Buffalo this year, and it was a great experience.
What is your favourite thing about working with children?

My favourite thing about working with children is seeing them grow and improve. This could be for various things, such as confidence, skills in a sport or becoming a better person.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?

I am most excited to impact children who struggle with confidence. It’s something I understand a lot and have struggled with in the past. I would love to help see a child become more confident in whatever they are doing.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?

Be confident and put yourself out there. I feel it’s so important to make the most of things and be grateful for the opportunities we get that we should all be trying to make the most of them all. I strongly believe you will not regret trying new things, but you may regret being worried about trying new things.
