In-Camp Staff

Hi! My name is Juan Pablo Henao, and I’m from Medellin, Colombia. I’m currently studying psychology, a field I’m really passionate about because it helps me understand people and how we connect with each other.

I’m a friendly and open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people, especially from different cultures. I love sports, nature, and exploring new places whenever I get the chance. I’m always curious, eager to learn, and excited to build meaningful connections.
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:
What I love most about working with children is their imagination. They’re incredibly funny and always have something unexpected to say, which makes every moment unique and enjoyable.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:
I want the kids to understand how beautiful life can be when you get rid of all the technology we have in today's world. You can learn new skills, make lifelong friendships, open up, and you can have the best and happiest moments in your life!
Also, being a True Gentleman can make your life easier and will open so many doors for you down the road. Easy lessons are most of the time the best ones!
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:
This year at CCB, I’m most excited about being a positive role model for the children. I hope they see me as someone they can trust and look up to, and that they remember me with kindness and appreciation.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:
One philosophy I really want my campers to learn this summer is the importance of living in the present moment. In today’s world, we’re constantly distracted and often focused on the past or the future. I want them to enjoy what’s happening right now, appreciate the small moments, and truly experience everything around them. I believe this can help them feel happier, more connected, and more confident in themselves.
