Nurse

Hello!  My name is Zach and I am a native to western North Carolina.  I live just outside of Brevard with my family.
My son has been coming to and loving Camp Carolina for several years now and I have been a camp nurse for the same amount of time.
Professionally I am an emergency care nurse that has worked in the region for over two decades.  I currently work as flight nurse in the critical care transport role for a local hospital system.
When not at work or with family I spend as much time as I can in the mountains riding bikes, hiking/backpacking, or fishing.
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

My family/children and how they are growing up.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

Any time in the mountains is a good time for me!  I enjoy mountain biking, hiking/backpacking, and fishing.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

Being a role model and living proof that you can achieve anything you apply yourself too.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

Being a positive role model.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

Dream big and follow them with relentless forward progress.
