Hi everyone! My name is Ana Raquel, I'm from Veracruz, Mexico and this will be my first time at Camp Carolina. I'm going to be in the arts & crafts team and I'm very excited about this new experience. I cannot wait to be there and have the best summer with all of you!

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

My biggest achievement has been graduating from college as an experimental biologist.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

I am passionate about making handcrafts, I am currently dedicated to making crochet amigurumis and also love to embroider and sew. My favorite sports are swimming and outdoor running. Some things I like to do are: draw, read, listen to music, eat delicious food, and spend time in contact with nature.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

My favorite part of working with children is being able to teach them new skills because they are so creative. I also love their energy and the joy that comes with working with them.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

I hope to be a role model for children healthily and lovingly creating a positive impact on their summer. The children feel confident around me and, more than an authority, see me as someone they can trust.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

I want children to have fun in all the activities and sports that the camp has, enjoy their summers and create new experiences that will last a lifetime.
