My name is Chris, I'm 27 years old and come from New Zealand!
A little bit about myself... I love music. I've been playing guitar and ukulele on and off for the last 17 years and have many odd and unique instruments. Singing loudly (not necessarily in tune) around a campfire is my happy place. I love working in, around, and on water and have been fortunate enough to instruct many water activities such as whitewater rafting, kayaking, even kids swim instructing, to name a few.
Across my decade of instructing experience, I've also instructed archery, frisbee golf, high and low ropes, day and overnight hikes, camping, guitar, ukulele... and more!
I was lucky enough to first be employed by CCB back in 2018 as a member of their white water team - I'm so happy and grateful to be returning this year again as a white water team member.
At present, I'm studying social work in New Zealand and clinical hypnotherapy in Australia. I'm a very deep thinker with an insatiable passion for truth and healing. Self-reflection and meditation are a daily practice. I love supporting people and helping foster self-growth.
I cannot wait to build some incredible connections and grow further with everyone at CCB this summer.

To bring as much positive authentic energy as I can possibly muster.

You get out of camp what you put into camp. Don't be afraid to try new things. It's okay to not be good at an activity right away. Being your authentic self is the gift we all give the world.
Why? Because it's all true :)
