Hello! My name is Grant and I am 19 years old from Scotland. I am currently in my third year of studying Aero-Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. In my free time I do archery where I shoot recurve as well as watching a lot of sport. I am the university archery team captain competing all around the UK, from Aberdeen to Coventry!
What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:
My biggest achievement in life so far is getting into my dream course at my dream university. What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:
My favorite sport to do is outdoor archery shooting at 70 meters, but my favourite sport to watch is definitely football (or soccer I believe it is referred to in the states...) What is your favorite thing about working with children?:
My favorite thing about working with children is definitely overcoming the fear of failure and having a resilient attitude. What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:
I am excited to meet new people and have a good time delivering a range of activities to campers! What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:
I want campers to have resilience and not to have a fear of failure. With these values, a determined mind can achieve anything!
