Hello there! My name is Anneka, pronounced (On-eh-kah). I am an Infirmary Assistant here at Camp Carolina this summer. I am currently a Mary Baldwin University student majoring in Biology with a Biomedical Emphasis. I am originally from Whitsett, NC, but I grew up in Atlanta, GA, and attended high school in Richmond, VA. I love sports and have a passion for the arts. Some of my favorite sports are horseback riding, dance, and football.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

I would say I am most proud of my ability to learn quickly. It's helped me in many aspects of life and allows me to expand my horizons constantly.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

I have many hobbies but my favorites are horseback riding, dance, and acting.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

My favorite thing about working with children is being able to positively influence young lives and being a memorable role model.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

I am excited to be someone who helps foster a safe space and fun environment for young people.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

I hope the campers learn to enjoy the simple things in life and the simplicities of the natural world.
