Hey! My name is Olivia and I’m from Auckland, New Zealand. This will be my first year at CCB and I’m super excited to meet all the campers and people from all over the world! In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends doing a range of different things, such as going out on the boat during summer. I love trying new things and meeting new people.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

I am most proud of myself for being able to push myself outside of my comfort zone by doing new things. By doing this I am able to push my limits to see what I’m cable of. This includes trying new hobbies/activities or meeting new people in social situations.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

My favourite hobby would have to be going to the gym, going for walks/runs and horse riding. By going to the gym I am able to push myself with different exercises as well as it helps clear my mind. I have also been horse riding since I was about 10 years old, I used to compete fairly often but now just enjoy a good hack or fun rides around cross country.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

My favourite thing about working with children would have to be seeing them experience life for the first time. They get to try new things and figure out what they enjoy most and what they’re best at. As well as seeing them succeed at things they didn’t think they were capable of.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

I’m excited to give the campers an unforgettable and memorable summer! I can’t wait to be role model for them to look up to but also a friend that they can rely on. I’m excited for a summer full of fun, challenges and making memories that will be looked back at for years to come!
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

A goal I really want my campers to learn this summer would be to push themselves to try new things and going the extra mile. By doing this they will be able to realise that they are capable of things they never thought possible!
