Hi, I'm Pedro, I'm 19 years old, I'm from Colombia and I'm very excited to work with Camp Carolina! I am a very responsible, kind, and loving person, I love nature and sports. I want to help all the children who are going to participate in the camp to live a very pleasant experience, to have fun and enjoy themselves.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF/BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT IN LIFE SO FAR?

The greatest achievement I had was that I was promoted in my job 5 months after starting for the first time,  it was very important for me because I had more responsibilities and I could fulfill them very quickly with all the responsibility and seriousness that entails. With sports my greatest achievement was winning the national tournament in my country when I was 15 years old, it was very important for me because I did it with a team in the 18-year-old category.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HOBBY/SPORT/THING TO DO DURING YOUR FREE TIME?

My favorite hobby is playing soccer, I feel that it is a sport that fills me with life and generates a lot of happiness. I have been playing since I was 4 years old and I am very good at it. I enjoy teaching this sport and being able to make people learn from what I know so that in the future they can be the best at what they do.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING WITH CHILDREN?

My favorite thing about working with children is that I can teach them a lot of good things that they can use in the future. I also like the fact that children have a very pure heart which makes working with them very enjoyable and happy for everyone.

WHAT IMPACT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED TO MAKE THIS YEAR AT CCB?

The most exciting thing is being able to teach, live with, and learn from all the people who will be at the camp, both children and co-workers. I feel that it is a very pleasant and enriching experience because I can learn from everyone and teach very good things to everyone.

WHAT GOAL OR CAMP PHILOSOPHY DO YOU REALLY WANT YOUR CAMPERS TO LEARN THIS SUMMER? 

I want them to learn many values such as honesty, courage, affection, and above all tolerance and respect. I feel that these are very important values that will make the lives of the camp participants more enjoyable and loving. By learning these values we help people to grow personally and be able to understand and love other human beings.
