Adventure Staff

Hey, I’m a returner staff member called Reni from Hungary! You’ll find me at the stables teaching horseback riding for the boys which I am so passionate and enthusiastic about! I love to spend my free time outdoors doing any kind of sports as I am an energetic, adventurous, and sporty girl. I used to work as a hotel receptionist before I went to CCB last summer but I also have a certificate as a sports instructor so in my free time I have riding lessons with kids. Besides horseriding, I love running and working out as well and my other passion is doing Spartan races which is the toughest obstacle-course trail running platform for people who like to get muddy and enjoy being out of their comfort zone.

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?

My biggest achievement in life was going to CCB last summer to practice and gain experience in teaching my favorite activity. I traveled to the US on my own and during the summer I learned a lot about self-reliance so I became much more independent in every field of life. I feel like I had a big change in my personality and at the end of camp a better version of myself has left. Being out of my comfort zone helped me understand myself more and how to overcome the obstacles in life.

What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?

Obviously, it’s horseback riding! I enjoy the company of horses and spending my time in nature with them, it’s so relaxing and calming. I’m obsessed with training for my races so I run and do workouts almost every day. Reading in English is the only chilled thing I like to do!

What is your favorite thing about working with children?

What I love the most about working with kids is that I can be a part of their journey learning new skills, gaining experiences, and achieving new goals which makes me so happy and proud! Teaching them my knowledge makes me feel wanted and appreciated as well. Seeing them try new sports/activities and finding joy in them is a really exceptional experience.

What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?

I want to be a role model who they can look up to and they can rely on no matter what are the circumstances. I want the kids to appreciate me as a teacher and listen to me willingly but also I want to be their friend who they can share their feelings with and we can have the most fun together!

What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?

As we’ll be around animals in nature I’d like them to have a goal in maintaining a connection with the horses and respect them and nature as well. Enjoy the simplicity of life and every small step they are going to achieve in any kinds of sport. Make friends and unforgettable memories while they will be having a huge transformation in their personalities to become a better man!
