Hi! My name is Zoe and I am from New Zealand. This will be my second summer at Camp and I am so excited!! I have a bachelor of science in Sports Development and Management and I have now been teaching young children how to play sports for almost 2 years. I have always enjoyed being outside and working with children so I think that Camp is the best mix! I can't wait to meet everyone and have the best summer!!

What are you most proud of/biggest achievement in life so far?:

Going to Costa Rica and Nicaragua for a month for the World Challenge program when I was 17 years old! A group of 20 students from my school organized the budget, itinerary, and all the decisions for the trip. It was extremely challenging being in non-English speaking countries, but I felt as though it really pushed my boundaries and helped me develop my people and problem-solving skills.
What is your favorite hobby/sport/thing to do during your free time?:

I love to be outdoors, going camping and skiing especially! I really enjoy going to the gym and I love being around all of my friends and family.
What is your favorite thing about working with children?:

I enjoy how enthusiastic children are! They are always so overcome with excitement when something new happens and cannot wait to share it with the people around them. I love seeing kids grow confidence in new skills they learn and want to show me how they have improved.
What impact are you most excited to make this year at CCB?:

I just want all the kids at camp to have the most fun they possibly can! I want the campers to feel comfortable coming to me for help and see me as their friend. I want to be able to connect with the campers and feel as though both I and them have made a positive impact on each other.
What goal or camp philosophy do you really want your campers to learn this summer?:

To really live in the moment and appreciate the time you have at camp! It's such an amazing opportunity to be in this environment (especially with the absence of technology) and you don't want to feel as though you have missed out, being distracted by other things!
